Community
Yarram & District is a part of the Wellington Shire. There is one Secondary College in Yarram with five feeder state schools and one catholic school. There are many sporting facilities available including football, netball, cricket, lawn bowls, tennis, squash, golf, swimming and more.
Each year, there is a number of community events held, including the Tarra Festival at Easter, a dance eisteddfod in May, a speech, vocal & instrumental eisteddfod in August, a snapper festival and the annual agricultural show in November and more.
